Our mission is to protect our kids from government overreach. It is important that we keep our rights to raise our children with our values and morals, without government interference. Children need protection from indoctrination such as the CRT, transgender, as well as drugs and surgeries that are irreversible. Let's free them from these adult subjects and let our kids be innocent kids!
I have been a resident of Maplewood since 2006 and a Maplewood business owner since 2009. I became a follower of Jesus Christ when I was 30 years old and attend Eagle Brook Church in Maplewood. While my own belief in Jesus guides me, I still do understand that not all our citizens embrace Christianity. It is not Government's' role to enforce a belief system. Government should be limited in our lives, to protect our ability to live within our own good conscience, as well as establish laws, that if enforced will provide us all a free and safe society.
Maplewood and LIttle Canada are great communities, and our Bruce Vento Trail is a true gem. I attended many meetings and spoke at City Hall to push back against the Rush Line that would have destroyed it.
I have decided to run as House Representative for District 44A, because our kids need a voice. I will fight hard for their education rights and protect them from laws that were established last session, that will allow children to make the choice of physical disfigurement. These decisions to change their bodies needs to be made when their brains are fully developed.
I see our freedoms being taken from us in the name of safety and inclusion. There are several areas that government has overstepped its boundaries. We all experienced how quickly Government took our freedoms starting in 2020 with unconstitutional laws, made in the name of “public safety” lockdowns, mandating masks, and vaccines, closing GOVERNMENT SELECTED businesses, closing our schools, and making policies that harm our children. I WILL fight hard against all this government overreach.
As my campaign slogan implies, my major focus is to protect our kids. The bill HF 146 that was passed just prior to 2023 summer recess, has given the government authority under law to overrule parental rights, when it comes to this new phenomenon, GENDER IDENITY. There is a huge push to give our children the idea that if they change their gender, this is the fix to all their problems. How did we get to a point where kids even consider this option? I was appalled to learn our schools are planting the seeds of gender as early as grade school, the celebration of a gender revels in the classroom, and books that are read, such as, "The Genderbread Person" & "It's Perfectly Normal". Schools should not be talking about these sexual topics to grade school students. We only get a short time to have our childlike innocence, let's let our precious children focus on being kids. I promise you that kids do not see the skin color of their classmates until someone suggest they should. Traditional therapy in emotional healing is to help you love yourself as you are and to stop viewing yourself as a victim, but understand we all have the power of how we react. The DEI & CRT goes against this proven process of emotional healing. While are Minnesota school kids are at a all time low at proficiency in math and reading, we are pumping our education resources into promoting these social theories of CRT & DEI. As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child. A large part of this village is our public school system. Our kids' minds are impressionable, and when adults speak, kids do listen, especially when these adults are put in positions of authority and leadership roles, such as a schoolteacher. It is important that these adults keep the conversation and ideas at school on an agenda that does not go against the priorities and values that parents are instilling at home. We need to remove legislation that has put education barriers in our schools. We need to focus on raising a community of smart well educated children that understand boundaries and respect of their fellow citizens. Rules help all of us feel safe, and the last legislation that was passed is harmful to our classrooms. This law forbids the teacher to remove a child that is being disruptive in their classroom to be removed from the classroom. WE MUST provide a safe and orderly classroom setting for our children to learn and thrive in our classrooms. We as a society should respect each others belief systems. Government has overstepped its authority by insisting teachers pass a test that demonstrates their proficiency in theories such at DEI and CRT before they can be licensed. That will remove many of our loving and quality teachers, that are well equipped to teach Math, Reading, and Science but are not willing to sacrifice their conscience to earn a living.
Our constitution states we have the right to life. No person has the right to kill another human, in or outside the womb, or choose who lives or dies. I was conceived in 1967 to a mentally ill un-wed mother that was already struggling to raise my sister. It was unlawful at the time to kill me. Practically speaking it would have made no sense by today's system to let me live, by the grace of God and laws in place to protect me, I was given the chance to have my life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.
I did not truly understand the importance of our 1st amendment until the government and mainstream media started taking it from us. It seems that “Operation Mocking Bird” is at full force. Every mainstream media shares the same talking points, all following their marching orders to spin the same narrative. Many people that did not agree or had concerns or wanted to voice their thoughts were canceled from their social platforms. Without the protection of free expression, the ability to express when we believe something is wrong or unjust, without fear of consequence, we will lose our free society.
I will fight to stop this movement of government becoming a dictatorship. Government has no constitutional right to make laws restricting our speech, on what we can or cannot say, or even worse what we MUST say in the name of inclusion. Let each man speak by their conscience.
Our founding fathers instinctively knew that our free society would be hard to keep. We have a constitutional right to own and bear arms. This right has been under attack for ages and sadly citizens of places such Chicago, have accepted an unconstitutional law that states they are prohibited from owning firearms. Statistics show that the cities that have the strictest gun control laws, have the most gun crimes. Families have the right to protect themselves. Allowing citizens to carry guns keeps our streets safe. The lawless criminals are not going to follow gun laws. Gun restrictions are only going to disarm our lawful citizens.
Guns do not kill people, the person pulling the trigger does. If a person is deranged and wants to kill people and does not have a gun, they will find different means to kill. There was the incident of the person killing several at a parade goers with in a van, the Oklahoma bombing, and just recently the nephew of a woman who beat her and her husband to death with chains.
We have the constitutional right to keep and bear Arms, and it shall not be infringed.
